Head of the Presidential Office Kyrylo Budanov confirmed on Thursday, Oct. 8 that he was traveling to the US with Ukraine’s negotiating team for “important meetings.” The delegation is scheduled to meet with senior US special envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, who stepped up their efforts to broker an end to Russia’s war in recent months. According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, an European team is expected to join later.
