Aramco, NESR sign $200M deal for lithium project in Saudi Arabia

National Energy Services Reunited Corp. (NESR) said that its environmental and decarbonization unit signed an agreement with Saudi Aramco to develop a pilot lithium production project in Saudi Arabia under a contract worth approximately $200 million. In a statement, NESR said the five-year contract targets annual production of 2,000 metric tons of battery-grade lithium carbonate, with operations and production expected to begin in late 2027.
