
Senate ratifies condo redevelopment bill

A MEASURE protecting unit owners, occupants, and the public from the dangers of aging condominium units by providing incentives for redevelopment was ratified by the Senate on Thursday. The bicameral conference committee report, which reconciled Senate Bill No. 2420 and House Bill No. 2286, proposed to rationalize voting requirements for unit owners to exercise their rights in the development of aging condominiums.
